Charlie Smith

Charlie grew up surrounded by plants, with her family being in the horticultural industry, which sparked a natural appreciation for the outdoors from a young age. After finishing school, the plan was travel, but with plans disrupted by Covid, she instead looked to university and quickly discovered a passion for design and landscapes.

She went on to complete a four-year Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at Lincoln University, graduating with First Class Honours. During her studies, Charlie developed a strong interest in creating spaces that balance creativity, functionality, and a sense of connection to nature.

Now a valued member of the Goom Landscapes team, she brings fresh perspective, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for helping clients bring their outdoor spaces to life. Outside of work, Charlie enjoys spending time with her dogs, family, friends, and can often be found making the most of the outdoors.
